Our shifts vary between 2-8+hrs long. We have on-going availability to offer work between 15-30 hours per week, and what matters most is your availability for at least 4 days per week.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Support participants in achieving their NDIS goals.
- Support participants to connect with their local communities and enhance natural supports.
- Support participants to prepare or participate in the preparation of meals.
- Assist with personal care tasks.
- Provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve the participant’s level of independent functioning, including participation in the community.
- Respond to the participant’s needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes and Incident reports.
- Implement positive behaviour support plan (PBSP) strategies when needed (training will be provided when needed)
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Committed to ongoing learning and development.

- Essential requirements
There are several requirements for our Support Workers, including:
- Approved Queensland Working with Children Check (Paid)
- Approved NDIS Worker Screening Check (Paid)
- Queensland Police Check
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Manual Handling (desirable or willing to obtain)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (desirable or willing to obtain) or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
- Current CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
